Donald Trump threatened to sign an executive order terminating birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to non-citizen parents, something that will certainly spark a legal challenge considering the 14th Amendment to the Constitution is unambiguous in its language. The very first words in Section I of the 14th Amendment read "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
