President Trump bashed the media, the entity that he attributed to trying to destroy his presidency. His comment came in the wake of Bob Woodwards book, a review of Trump's Presidency which he called a "total piece of fiction, It also came after the release of an editorial by the NYT, which was written by an anonymous White House official who's working with others against him. He told those present at a meeting with sheriffs that the media didn't like him and he didn't like them either because they were "very dishonest people".
