Donald Trump attacked Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson during a speech to the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference, which was being held in the city of Chicago. Trump accused the Superintendent of putting “criminals and illegal aliens” ahead of Chicago residents and said he is "not doing his job" as Chicago's top police officer. He also compared Chicago to Afghanistan, saying that the latter is a safer place than the city he was speaking in.
