In an Oval Office interview with Hill.TV’s John Solomon and Buck Sexton, President Trump made the claim that he doesn't like to use the term "deep state," because it sounded too "conspiratorial." He also claimed he wasn't a conspiratorial person. However, Trump has accused many in and outside of the government of conspiracy. Trump has tweeted many times about the "deep state" government, such as "The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy - & they don’t know what to do," "and Where is the DNC Server, and why didn’t the FBI take possession of it? Deep State?"

"I don’t like to use it because it sounds so conspiratorial and believe it or not I’m really not a conspiratorial person. But I think it’s a sad day for our country," Trump said in an Oval Office interview, referring to the term "Deep State." Yet he has used the term many times himself.
