President Trump attended a rally to support Matt Rosendale, a candidate for the Montana Senate. Later in the speech, Trump took a stab at the Obama administration, getting the most important details wrong. He said the hostages from North Korea were released, and he didn't have to pay $1.8 billion for them, referring the release of hostages in Iran during Obama's administration. Obama didn't pay a ransom, also the money Trump mentioned was actually $1.7 billion, which was Iran's all along. It just so happened, the first installment was paid to Iran, coincidentally, on the same day four hostages were released.
