President Trump spent his morning on the phone with the anchors from "Fox and Friends." During the call, Trump began a misleading rant about Dr. Jill McCabe, the wife of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. He claimed that the $750,000 her state Senate campaign received from groups affiliated with a longtime friend of Hillary Clinton, might not have been spent, and that "nobody even knows if she spent the money." However, campaign records show that the money was spent on campaign-related expenses.

"Remember one thing about [Andrew] McCabe, his wife was running for office and he got $750,000 from Hillary Clinton's essentially PAC. It was run by Terry McAuliffe who was absolutely Hillary Clinton's, absolutely Hillary Clinton's best friend, and Bill Clinton. They gave 750,000 for his wife. Nobody even knows if she spent the money. She might not have spent the money," Trump said during a phone interview with "Fox and Friends" anchors.
