Donald Trump doubled down on his fanciful claim that since he didn't say the words "quid pro quo" during his talk with the Ukrainian President he did nothing wrong. What he and his supporters in Congress and the media continue to ignore is that a person doesn't have to say the words "quid pro quo" in order for it to be, in fact, a quid pro quo. What matters is whether or not Donald pressured a foreign government to investigate his political rival in exchange for him releasing aid authorized by Congress. Or, in other words, a quid pro quo.
