Donald Trump boasted that the newly passed Republican tax law repealed Obamacare because it did away with the tax penalty for anyone who didn't purchase health insurance, otherwise known as the individual mandate. The Associated Press fact checked Trump's claim and found that it is false, mainly because "[M]ost of the money [to fund the law] comes from higher taxes on upper-income people, cuts in Medicare payments to service providers, and other tax increases."
