President Trump wrote an op-ed for USA Today, regarding a program promoted by Sen. Bernie Sanders to expand Medicare to all Americans, which was known as Medicare-for-All. Trump wrote that Democrats across the country were uniting around the proposed program, which would end Medicare, as well as take benefits away from seniors, which wasn't true. Sanders said he would first improve Medicare for seniors by eliminating deductibles. Sander's proposal would have improved benefits for seniors, not take them away.
