About: China
Donald Trump caved to Chinese government demands that a state owned telecommunications company named ZTE have sanctions lifted against them even though every single intelligence agency in the United States has warned that the company poses a national security risk. Trump ordered Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to help the sanctioned company “back into business, fast,” after the Chinese government complained to Trump. Trump went on to overrule his national security advisers and directed Ross to see what he can do to get the sanctions lifted.
