Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that he doesn't feel he needs to prepare for his summit with North Korea Kim Jong-un because both leaders already had plan to think about what they wanted to talk about. Not planning for a major summit isn't unusual for Trump, but the stakes of the summit couldn't be higher and not being prepared has the potential to torpedo the summit in the blink of an eye.
Quote | The success of the summit will determine if NK agrees to give up its nuclear program.
"I think I’m very well prepared. I don’t think I have to prepare very much," Trump said as he posed for pictures with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. "This isn’t a question of preparation, it’s a question of whether or not people want it to happen and we’ll know that very quickly."
