During a phone call in June with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,Trump went off into a tirade. The outburst came while they discussed the US/Japan trade deficit. Trump then referenced Pearl Harbor. The reference was heard by other participants of the phone call. Trump apparently became angry while speaking with the prime minister. He was specifically angry about how Japanese citizens weren't buying as many US goods, as the US citizens are buying Japanese goods.After saying "I remember Pearl Harbor," he then was quoted to say "I'm on to the Japanese".
