Donald Trump took another jab at Senator Elizabeth Warren over her claim to be part Native American by calling her Pocahontas yet again, but this time it was during a ceremony honoring Navajo code talkers who served during World War II. Trump didn't refer to the Massachusetts Senator by name, but he has repeatedly used the derogatory nickname when he talks about her.
Quote | The ceremony was supposed to honor WWII Navajo code talkers.
“I just want to thank you because you’re very, very special people,” Trump said to the group. “You were here long before any of us were here — although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas. But you know what? I like you. Because you are special.”
